Saturn Award Nominations

Writer/ Director/ Producer
Jeff Rector is an award-winning filmmaker who just completed his first Feature film “Revamped”, which he wrote, produced and directed. Revamped is a feature length version of his first short film, “Fatal Kiss”, which was an official selection of the AFFMA International Film Festival and won the award for “Best Screenplay” in the World Competition. Other Festival Awards include “Best Director” and “Best Picture”.
“Fatal Kiss” was one of the first short films ever acquired by HBO and Revamped is currently being distributed on DVD nationwide. “Pray Another Day”, Jeff’s second short film as writer, director and producer, won awards for “Best Director” and “Best Music” at the 168 Hour Film Festival. As a working actor, Jeff has appeared in over 30 films with three features coming out this year including, “Winged Creatures” (with Kate Beckinsale), the detective thriller, “Dark World” (with Michael Pare’ and Theresa Russell) and the Sci-fi action/thriller “Solar Flare”. Jeff also starred as a psychic investigator in the supernatural thriller “The Black Gate” for Lions Gate Films.
On television, Jeff’s credits include “Everybody Hates Chris”, the Novella series “Saints and Sinners” and “Desire”, “Veronica Mars” and was recurring on Punk’d for MTV. Guest starring roles include the new Detective Drama “Murder” for SPIKE TV, “Short Circuitz” for MTV and played a pivotal character in the “NYPD Blue” episode that won Gordon Clapp an Emmy Award. Other shows include “Beverly Hills 90210” & “Star Trek: The Next Generation”.
Jeff graduated with a Degree in Speech and Telecommunications and holds memberships with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and is the official spokesman for the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films that produce the annual Saturn Awards.
