Gina Hendrix is the founder and owner of Selective and Single.
Gina has lived in Los Angeles since 1989. She calls Los Angeles home, she loves everything Los Angeles has to offer, but also knows first hand how hard it can be to meet genuine people.
This is a town filled with endless possibilities and that is a great thing, if you know how to make it work for you and that is the goal of Selective and Single. By bringing quality people together, combined with honest dating advice and a well-planned evening out on the town, Gina is jump-starting the elements that she believes are needed to create chemistry.
There are those that would prefer to get a quick drink and see if there is any instant chemistry in the first few seconds of meeting someone, however, Gina believes while chemistry can be an instant reaction to meeting someone, she also knows from experience that chemistry can be cultivated given the right circumstances.
Her goal is to not only find the right match for someone, but to help the client look their best, be armed with good dating advice and be able to make an impressive plan to ensure a fun evening.
Gina decided to start Selective and Single because of necessity and demand. Over the years Gina has had great success with introducing friends to other friends. Many of her introductions have led to long-term relationships and marriage. Many people have been asking Gina to start her own matchmaking business so that she could help others connect and find love. And there are those that are always seeking her fashion help as well as getting tips on where to go to see great music, to finding trendy new restaurants, or an interesting art opening. Since she has been advising and helping with all of these things for years, Gina then decided to combine all of her passions to create a unique matchmaking service. Selective and Single.
Because she has had a long and successful career as a celebrity fashion stylist and costume designer, Gina brings with her a wealth of contacts including entertainment executives, celebrities, models, as well as numerous selective singles from all over California. She also brings with her an eye for giving someone a new look, her love for planning fun and creative dates and just helping people make their lives happier.
